Hires new Country manager Norway, with goal of doubling revenue
Nova Consulting Group has set ambitious growth targets for the future and is sharpening its focus on group-wide business development. As part of this strategy, the company identified the need for a dedicated Country mangaer for its Norwegian operations.
“The time had come to appoint a dedicated Country manager for Norway to create a clearer distinction between the group-level operations and Nova Norway, which have largely overlapped until now,” says Geir Allan Hove, CEO of Nova Consulting Group.
Following a thorough selection process, the company chose Trine Røssel Ødegaard for the role. Ødegaard, who previously served as Managing Director at Ework Group, assumed the newly created position of Norway CEO at Nova Consulting Group on December 1.
“The history and culture of Nova Consulting Group are incredibly exciting. The company’s development is impressive, and its level of ambition resonates with me. I’m eager to contribute to further growth,” she says.
Strong Interest in the Role
The position of Country manager Norway attracted significant interest, with over 100 applications submitted. However, Ødegaard’s profile stood out most to Hove.
“We were looking for a strong and clear leader with commercial instincts—someone who could unite, inspire, and guide all of our Norwegian companies in the same direction. I believe Trine possesses these qualities, and I’m confident she will lead the team in a way that benefits all our companies and the Nova group as a whole,” Hove says.
Aiming for Over NOK 2 Billion in Revenue
Hove and three co-founders originally started Epinova in 2007, a company specializing in web and e-commerce solutions. Today, Epinova has grown into 13 subsidiaries under the Nova Consulting Group umbrella, which is projected to approach NOK 1 billion in revenue by the end of 2024.
“We’ve been in constant development since the beginning, and we intend to keep it that way. We’re continually exploring new service areas and markets to expand into. That’s why it’s important for me to focus my efforts on further business development and avoid being stretched too thin,” Hove explains.
Nova Consulting Group, which operates offices in Norway, Poland, and Sweden, aims to exceed NOK 2 billion in revenue within the next four years. Ødegaard will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.
“It’s an ambitious target, and it requires a dedicated person to steer the ship in Norway. At present, we consist of eight companies with a combined revenue of approximately NOK 800 million. Achieving profitable growth is a top priority, and I’m very confident that Trine has the focus and capabilities to deliver,” concludes Hove.
